Deuteronomy 22 | (6) If on your way you come across a nest of birds in any tree or on the ground, young birds or eggs on which the mother is lying, you shall not take the mother with her brood:
(7) you are bound to let the mother fly away, except to seize the young; in this way, you will be happy and you will see your days prolonged.
